Your Career Starts Here - Meeting The Following Eligibility

  1. Be at least 17 years of age
  2. Have High School diploma or in pursuit of a General Education Diploma (GED)
  3. Have an aptitude of 8th grade literacy level
  4. Have the physical requirements of performing work and can lift at least 50 pounds
  5. Able to complete the training program, including signing a letter of commitment

On behalf of the Universal Skills & Trades Academy (USTA), we are pleased to announce that the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has officially approved the first cohort of 100 participants for enrollment in our Workforce Training Program.
